Ellington and Sunji have a rough morning.

"Brother's Keeper" is the second short film in the season two shorts double feature, Pretty Dudes: The Double Entendre. The short was written by Chance Calloway (credited as C.S.R. Calloway), Christopher Edelen, and Andrea Lee. To date, this is the only script written by all three of Season Two's writers.

Casting[]

The short film features eight of season two's lead characters (Bryan Michael Nuñez as Zario, Xavier Avila, Kyle Rezzarday, Tanerélle as Kish, Joshuah Noah Snel as Marshall, Aria Song, Christian Olivo, and Yoshi Sudarso) as well as two recurring actors, Cesar Cipriano and Dante Fernandez, who play Shane and Vega respectively. Sammy Cantu was cast as Aza Keeper after the original concept of Marshall dating a different character was abandoned.

Production[]

The short was shot simultaneously with the other film in the feature, Bravo Double-Delta. The episode, similar to the corresponding season, features an extensive amount of nudity from several cast members, a first for the show (but certainly not the last).

Awards and recognition[]

Brother's Keeper screened publically for the first time at the Silver Lake Shorts on September 26, 2019.
