Pretty Dudes: The Double Entendre is a short film collection of two second season -adjacent mini-sized episodes, "Bravo Double Delta" and "Brother's Keeper." The shorts were collectively written by Chance Calloway (credited as C.S.R. Calloway), Christopher Edelen, and Andrea Lee and the film was the final project distributed by CSRC Storytelling. To date, this is the only individual release written by all three of the second season's writers.
Plot[]
December introduces the world of "the Dudes," “housemates, friends, and fiercely protective of each other.”
Bravo Double Delta[]
In the first short, Alexander brings up the titular concept, which stands for Big Dick Day, or BDD, which Sunji tells Kish is "a guy thing." During the ensuing series of confessionals, the male Dudes detail their connections with BDDs, while Kish is annoyed and December is disbelieving.
Brother's Keeper[]
In the following short, Marshall brings home a date, Aza, who is put through an intensive vetting process by each Dude in the house led by Marshall's older brother Ellington. The collection culminates with a series of mid-credits scenes that detail what happens after Marshall's date.
Pre-production[]
A series of scheduling and crew setbacks had delayed production on the second season of "Pretty Dudes" when creator Chance Calloway decide to create new content featuring the available cast and crew. This required a new script, written to cater to the resources at hand, and he reached out to his Season Two co-writers Christopher Edelen and Andrea Lee. The episode was then written and edited within a manner of days.
Casting[]

Together, the two shorts feature all nine of Season Two's lead actors (Bryan Michael Nuñez, Xavier Avila, Kyle Rezzarday, Tanerélle, Joshuah Noah Snel, Aria Song, Manny Shih, Christian Olivo, and Yoshi Sudarso), the only video to do so outside of Season 2's premiere and finale. as well as two recurring actors, Cesar Cipriano and Dante Fernandez, who play Shane and Vega respectively. Sammy Cantu was cast as new character Aza Keeper after the original concept of Marshall dating a different character from the series was abandoned.
Filming and post-production[]
Both episodes were filmed in Studio City on the same day as the BTS video, "Oh, Brother!" which featured Kyle, Xavier, and Joshuah alongside Brennan Mejia and Justin Dennis. The episodes were shot on with the FiLMiC Pro app on an iPhone 8 Plus and edited in Final Cut Pro X.

The double-feature was selected to screen as a part of the Asians on Film Festival of Shorts 2020.
